GENERAL RULES FOR EXAMINATION
Examination schedules will be posted on the notice boards. Parents are responsible to make note of these. Parents are requested to ensure that their wards maintain regularity in attendance and undertake all examinations without fail. No average marks will be awarded in case of absenteeism. There will be no re-examination of any test , written or oral for any class. In order to be promoted a student should secure at least 40% marks in every subject. Any child failing in any of the major subjects (English,Vernacular,Mathematics) will not be promoted. There will be no 'promotion on trial'. Any student failing twice in the same class will have to discontinue, school or crèche. Students graduating from primary to Secondary Section i.e. from class V to class VI, must secure a minimum of 50% marks aggregate. Regarding questions of promotion or failure, the Founders and/or the Headmistresses' decision will be final and binding.
