Parents/guardians seeking admission for their wards must read through all the details in the prospectus of the institution. Only if they agree to abide by all the rules and regulations stated therein, should they fill in the application form.

The admission of a child depends entirely upon the discretion of the Founder and/or the Headmistress. Children above 2.5 years must seek admission to Dolna Day School as children above 12 years of age cannot remain in the Nursery/baby crèche.

Children joining in the middle of the academic session will have to pay the session charges, examination fees etc., as well as school fees from the beginning of the session i. e. from the month of April. Crèche charges are payable only from the month of joining

WITHDRAWAL FROM CRÈCHE : 

A clear calendar month's written notice is required to be submitted to the office i. e. notice must be given in by the last day of the month. (For example, if notice is given even on the 1st. of January, fees for the months of January & February have to be cleared) .

If a child is withdrawn just before a vacation, fees for the vacation period will also have to be paid.

In case fees are not cleared, the institution reserves the right to forfeit the deposit/caution money to cover the loss of fees.

WITHDRAWAL FROM SCHOOL :  

A written notice has to be sent to the Founder Secretary in duplicate.

Fees for the whole year inclusive of holidays have to be paid, whatever be the time of withdrawal during the academic year. In case fees are not cleared the institution reserves the right to forfeit the deposit/caution money to cover the loss of fees.

In case parents do not wish their children to continue in the next academic year, the notice for withdrawal should reach the Founder a clear calendar month before the end of the term i. e. by the end of the month of February as the academic year is from April to March.

At the beginning of the new session, parents should ensure that they attend the BOOK-MARKET without fail and that the total fees for the first month of the academic year inclusive of all session charges, examinations fees, graduation fees etc are paid in by the 15th. of the first month (i. e. 15th. of April. for the April to March academic year).
A late payment fine of Rs. 100/- per month is payable in case of non- payment of Session charges, examinations fees etc. by the date stipulated above.

All applications for transfer certificates should reach the office in duplicate by the day following the publication of Annual Results, which is the last day of the academic year. Fees for the whole year inclusive of holidays have to be paid whatever be the time of withdrawal during the academic year (starting on the 1st. of April.)

For children who are to appear for the ICSE examinations (at the end of Class X), all fees till the end of the academic session have to be paid before the final examinations in January.

In cases of new admission if children do not join the school or crèche within a month of the joining date, the name of the child will be struck off the register. All fees will be forfeited and deposits (excluding personal articles) will also be forfeited.

REMOVAL
The Institution reserves every right to expel a child with or without
showing reason.

Failure in observance of rules and regulations, both on the part of the guardians and children, will compel the authorities to expel the child or children concerned, at any point of time, if they feel such a course of action is, necessary in the interest of the Institution. The decision of the Founder and/or the Headmistress is final and binding
in such matters.
